COMMERCE will develop on online community for the discussion of Mobility Plans. The community will be run through a website developed by EPOMM. The community will be called the European Platform on Workplace Travel Plans. It will be open to municipalities and employers from across the EU.
EPOWT will seek to engage practitioners in an active and lively community through the use of ‘webinars’ – online seminars will be held, with expert input followed by online question and answer sessions in relation to the specific topic of the seminar. The community will be notified by email when an event is to take place. This is just one example of how EPOWT will support the European mobility plan networks.
EPOWT will investigate and trial new approaches to online communities, it will not be a passive forum for posting of messages.
EPOWT will be launched at ECOMM 08. This section of the website will be updated as more information becomes available.
